What Historians Will Say About America

August 4, 2008

When all is said and done and the record is closely examined as other civilizations have been, historians will write that the United States has been a strong force for liberty throughout the world and her people were the most caring and giving of any nation in recorded history.

Of the current class of nay-sayers and critics – those politicians, educators, actors, members of the press, along with their respective minions and followers, all of whom find it to be in vogue to criticize our history, our government, our leaders and our way of life, never failing to point out and harp on all of our mistakes and flaws - the historians will not be impressed.  They will be amazed that a society could survive where this type of criticism and obstruction was not only allowed, but protected by our Constitution.

Yes, there have been mistakes and people have been wronged in our nation’s history.  For the most part, we as a people and we as a nation have gone to great pains to correct our mistakes.  Historians will note that as well.

For those of you who are depressed by all of the negativity you hear from the talking heads on the television, in the newspapers and on the net, take heart.  America still has a bright future.  Americans are waking up to what is happening in our country and in the world.  It’s slowly becoming evident that there are those who would destroy our sovereign nation and our Constitution from both the inside and outside of our country.  We the people can put the train back on its tracks and get on with the good our country is!

The historians aren’t ready to begin their study yet.  Our civilization hasn’t died just yet!
